We are proud to support local and state-wide charities that provide invaluable services for animals in need. We are actively involved in fundraisers throughout the year to help keep the good work of these charities going.
It is a sad fact that thousands of animals are left without a home every year and without the tireless efforts of animal charities they would be left without food, shelter or much needed medical treatment.
Here are the charities we support and we encourage you to as well!
The RSPCA has a unique role in animal care. They provide shelter services for stray animals and organise campaigns for animal welfare. They also manage the RSPCA Inspectorate, which investigates and prosecutes cases of animal cruelty.
Lost Dogs Home
The Lost Dogs home has been providing shelter services to Melbourne’s suburbs since 1910. They also manage the National Pet Register – an Australia-wide pet microchip registry that offers free pet identification tags, discount microchipping and a 24-hour call centre.
Lort Smith Animal Hospital
Lort Smith Animal Hospital helps pets of people in financial need by providing discounted veterinary services through charity funding. They also provide shelter services for lost, abandoned and surrendered pets.
Wildlife Victoria is a network of volunteer wildlife carers who donate their time looking after injured native wildlife.
