Welcome to our Winter Newsletter! We’re delighted to introduce Ava and Makayla, the newest members of our nursing team! It’s also the perfect season to take advantage of our special dental promotion to keep up with your pet’s dental health.
We are excited to welcome Ava to our team! Ava officially joined our team in April 2025 after gaining valuable experience with us as a placement student from 2023. She is qualified with a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and enjoys surgery and anaesthesia, with interests in sonography and cardiology. Ava is committed to ensure every animal receives a high standard of care and a fear free experience, helping to make each visit as comfortable and stress free as possible. Outside of work, Ava enjoys motorsports, concerts, exploring cafes around Melbourne, and hiking. At home she is kept on her toes by Luna, her nine year old Poodle cross.
Makayla recently joined the team and is currently completing a Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing, with graduation expected in 2026. She enjoys building relationships with clients and supporting them throughout their pet’s healthcare journey. Makayla also has a strong interest in anaesthesia and surgical nursing and looks forward to continuing to expand her knowledge and skills in these areas. Outside of work, Makayla enjoys spending time with her dog, Arlo, travelling and watching movies.
